Outstanding Colours and High Dynamic Range
The Fast IPS panel of the ASUS ROG Strix XG27JCG monitor displays 97% of the DCI-P3 colour space and works with 10-bit colour depth, resulting in accurate colour reproduction. For high dynamic range content, the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified. The standard defines a peak brightness of 600cd/m² and contributes to displaying deep blacks and brilliant highlights in a single scene. The typical brightness is 350cd/m² and the contrast ratio is 1,500:1, which enhances readability and image depth.
Monitor Performance
The ASUS ROG Strix XG27JCG monitor offers high gaming performance. A 180Hz refresh rate in overclocked mode and a 0.3ms (GTG) response time minimise motion blur. For artefact-free smoothness, the monitor supports NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies. Its unique Dual-Mode technology for switching modes lets you choose between a high 5K resolution at 180Hz for detailed visuals and QHD at 330Hz for maximum fluidity in fast-paced games. Furthermore, the ELMB Sync feature synchronises blur reduction with a variable refresh rate.
Gaming AI Features
Integrated ROG Gaming AI features use artificial intelligence to enhance the gaming environment. The Dynamic Shadow Boost feature automatically brightens dark areas of the scene without overexposing bright parts, improving visibility and contrast. Dynamic Crosshair adjusts the crosshair for better contrast against the background.
Flexible Adjustment and Mounting
The monitor's stand offers wide ergonomic adjustment options. The screen height can be adjusted within a 110mm range, tilted, or rotated into a vertical position using the pivot function. This flexibility helps you find the optimal viewing position. For mounting on a custom stand or arm, the monitor is compatible with the VESA 100 × 100mm standard. For physical security, the monitor has a Kensington lock slot. Power consumption is 26W in SDR mode and around 85W in HDR mode.
Connectivity
The monitor offers a wide range of connection options. Modern ports are available for easy connection to your devices. For connecting peripherals, there is a hub with three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a versatile USB-C port with 15W Power Delivery support.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, movies, or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the stated value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
A value given in nits or cd/m² that determines the brightness level of the monitor. Brightness above 400 nits is crucial for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
