Vibrant Colours Across the Entire Samsung G4 Screen
The Fast IPS panel displays gaming scenes in pure colours and maintains good readability even when viewed from the side. Wide viewing angles of 178°/178° help to keep the picture clear from different positions, which you'll appreciate when gaming, watching content and during everyday use. The fast response also reduces motion blur and ghosting, so action scenes appear sharper and are easier to follow.
High Brightness and More Detailed Picture with HDR10
HDR10 support helps to display more pronounced contrast, brighter highlights and better-rendered dark areas of the image. This gives gaming scenes greater depth and makes them feel more natural, especially in titles with dynamic lighting and prominent lighting effects. More detail in the shadows and highlights improves your orientation on the screen and adds a more intense atmosphere to the game. ¹
Speed for Action Gaming
The up to 300Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time are designed for fast-paced competitive gaming. The monitor can display very fast motion smoothly and better capture real-time changes, which helps with aiming, tracking opponents and making quick reactions. Minimal lag and a smoother picture allow you to react better to what's happening in the game. ²
Smooth Action with AMD FreeSync Premium
AMD FreeSync Premium helps to synchronise your graphics card with the Samsung G4 (G40H) monitor to reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and distracting lag. Thanks to the variable refresh rate, fast gaming scenes feel smoother and more stable, which is especially important for action titles and dynamic camera movements. This makes gaming more seamless and less disruptive. ³
Black Equalizer for Better Visibility in the Dark
The Black Equalizer function allows you to adjust the dark areas of the image to make them more readable, even in scenes with low lighting. It helps you to spot opponents hidden in the shadows, track details in the environment, and react more quickly to the situation in the game. A better overview in dark passages can be an advantage, especially in action and competitive games. ⁴
Virtual Aim Point for More Accurate Aiming
Virtual Aim Point displays a crosshair on the screen that can help with aiming accuracy. This function is useful in fast-paced situations where you need to maintain better control over the centre of the screen and react instantly to opponent movement. The additional aiming element supports more confident shots when playing action titles.
Ergonomic Stand for More Comfortable Gaming
The ergonomic stand allows the Samsung G4 (G40H) monitor to be tilted, swivelled, height-adjusted and rotated to a portrait orientation using the pivot function. This makes it easy to adjust the screen's position to suit the height of your desk, chair, and current use. A more comfortable monitor setup helps to reduce fatigue during longer gaming sessions, work, and content viewing.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, movies, or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the value given, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
Given in nits or cd/m², this value determines the monitor's brightness level. A brightness of over 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values over 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.¹ Images are simulated for illustrative purposes.
² Refresh rate and response time may vary depending on the performance of the input source. The 1ms value indicates an average response time between 1.00ms and 1.99ms, rounded to a whole number. GTG values were measured under internal testing conditions and results may vary depending on content and monitor settings. Requires Extreme Mode setting.
³ Images are simulated for illustrative purposes. AMD FreeSync Premium is only available with a compatible AMD graphics card.
