Image processing on the large format display
4K X-Reality PRO technology upscales lower-resolution images to near 4K quality. It uses an image database to sharpen details and reduce noise in real time. The Live Colour feature ensures vivid and natural colour reproduction by expanding the colour spectrum. Motionflow XR technology ensures smoothness in fast-moving scenes by analysing motion and inserting extra frames between the original ones, which reduces blurring.
Flexible installation and connectivity
The display supports both portrait and landscape installation to suit the available space and the type of content being shown. All signal, network and other connectors are conveniently located on the side, which simplifies access to cabling, even in portrait mode where the ports remain easy to reach. The connector set includes three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an RJ-45 for network connection, and an RS-232C for control systems. Standardised VESA 300×300 mounting holes are provided for attaching to a wall or stand.
Controlling the large format display
The Android TV operating system provides access to a wide range of applications. You can remotely control display functions, such as power on, power off, or input selection, via IP networks or using RS-232C protocols. The Simple Pro Settings feature simplifies display setup for corporate or retail environments. You can wirelessly mirror content from mobile devices thanks to support for Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast.
Simple content display
Built-in HTML5 support displays interactive content directly from the web without the need for an external player or computer. For simple deployment in digital signage systems, the integrated BRAVIA Signage Free 2.0 application is available. Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio. In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
