Acer PD1800

Acer PD1800
The Acer PD1800 projector uses DLP display technology to deliver a native 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution image. Its OSRAM RGB LED light source provides a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens, which is suitable for darkened rooms. Thanks to its native 16:9 aspect ratio, with support for 4:3 format, the 4K projector can flexibly display various types of content. The 8000:1 contrast ratio contributes to well-defined details in both dark and bright scenes. As a short-throw DLP projector, it creates a large image even from a short distance, making it easy to place in smaller rooms. The image size can be adjusted from 55" up to 300". The projector offers wide installation possibilities. It can be mounted on the ceiling or wall and supports both front and rear projection, including a ceiling-mounted option.

Image parameters and short throw
The DLP imaging chip renders an image with a native resolution of 3840×2160 4K UHD. The static contrast ratio of 8000:1 contributes to deep blacks and bright whites. The short-throw design is a key feature of this device. To create a 100" screen size image, a distance of just 1.5 metres from the screen is all you need. The 1.1× optical zoom offers basic image size adjustment without moving the device. The screen size can be set from 55" to 300".
Economical operation
The light source is an OSRAM RGB LED lamp with a lifespan of 20000 hours in standard mode. Activating the ECO mode extends the lifespan to 30000 hours and reduces power consumption from 87W to 62.50W. The brightness in ECO mode is 800 ANSI lumens. The low fan noise of 26dB in standard mode is not distracting during viewing or presentations. In standby mode, the projector's power consumption is only 0.5W.
Connectivity options
For connecting image sources, there is an HDMI 2.0 port that supports HDCP 2.2 content protection for playing 4K media. Audio output is handled by a 3.5mm mini jack connector. A practical USB-A port is used to power external devices with a 5V/2A output, for example, for streaming adapters.
