Agony

Agony

Agony is an old-school, non-linear game set in a semi-open world.

There are plenty of paths to take, areas to explore and secrets that don't want to be discovered.

More than one ending
Don't expect a modern, linear gameplay style from Agony. In Agony, there isn't just one ending—there are several possible outcomes.

A tormented soul in hell
Yes, that's you. You begin the game as a soul in hell with no memories of your past. But you are not entirely helpless. To survive in these harsh conditions, you have the ability to control people and simple-minded demons.

Explore hostile territory
After interacting with the other souls of hell, you will soon realise that there is only one way out. But you can't do it alone. To escape hell, you need to meet the mystical Red Goddess.

A full story and an open system of challenges await you. You will pass through randomly generated rooms in an attempt to survive.

Don't expect an easy ride, only a brutal and malevolent environment.

The Red Goddess
The Red Goddess is the architect of this hellish land and the only one who knows the way out. But there's more to it than meets the eye. You will be hunted by hellish creatures and nightmares. But you will also gain the help of demons and other souls on your journey to return from hell.
