Ajax CenterButton (one-button - two-way) [55] white - Center button (shift switch 1, 6)

The Ajax CenterButton LightSwitch is a smart touch wall switch designed for indoor installation to replace any mechanical or touch switch. This is shift switch no. 1+6. You can install it easily without changing the wiring of the building. The device does not require a neutral conductor, a phase conductor is fully sufficient. The switch operates in two modes: pulsed or bistable. The Ajax LightSwitch can control lighting devices from 5 to 600 W. For low wattage bulbs, the kit includes a capacitor that connects in parallel to the lighting fixture. It has a large touch button that switches on when approached to less than 15 millimetres, so the button is also suitable for public areas, even when used with wet hands or gloves.

Ajax application for easy control

You can use the full potential of the Ajax CenterButton LightSwitch Jeweller smart switch thanks to the mobile phone app, which is compatible with both iOS and Android. With the app, you can switch the lights from anywhere, even when you're at work or on holiday, or switch off the button backlight. The system supports routine modes, so the light can be set to turn on when an alarm occurs, according to a timetable, after the alarm system is deactivated or after a set time has elapsed (pulse mode). You can also connect other elements of the smart home, for example, for darkening in a room, the relay activates the closing of the blinds.

Reliable communication using radio waves

The switch requires a central unit for its operation, to which it connects using the proprietary Ajax Jeweller protocol based on radio waves. The protocol provides a two-way wireless radio communication range of up to 1100 m, so switches can be installed not only in apartments and houses, but also in large open spaces or warehouses. Jeweller transmits all necessary information and provides instant control over any number of LightSwitch devices in the system. With Jeweller, users can always control lighting and see the current status of switches in Ajax applications.
