AKAI APC Mini MKII
The AKAI APC Mini MKII controller will be particularly appreciated by users who work live, whether on stage or in the studio. The advantage of the APC Mini MKII is that it was custom-made for Ableton Live, so you don't have to map it after plugging it in. Simply connect it to your computer with the cable and you're ready to create. It's a plug-and-play device that requires no drivers for operation. To run the controller, just launch Ableton Live and then select APC MIDI as the controller for Ableton Live in the settings.

The AKAI APC Mini MKII Controller Communicates Bi-directionally with Ableton Live Software
The AKAI APC Mini MKII controller communicates bi-directionally directly with Ableton Live software. This allows it to receive feedback from the software and display it on its matrix when a clip is launched. The clip matrix then provides an instant overview of the status of the clips: which clip is ready, which is playing, and what is being recorded. Each status is displayed on the grid in specific colours, so you have an immediate overview of the status of the clips and the entire set. In addition to Ableton Live Lite, the product also includes licences for the virtual instruments Hybrid 3 (polyphonic analogue synth), Mini Grand (acoustic piano), and Velvet (vintage electric piano). The Toolroom Artist Launch pack, which includes a large library of samples, is also available for free download.
