APC Smart-UPS SRT Li-Ion 1500 VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card

APC Smart-UPS SRT Li-Ion 1500 VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card
The APC Smart-UPS SRT backup power supply uses online double-conversion topology and is designed by the manufacturer for rack mounting. It provides an apparent power of 1500VA and a true power of 1350W to power servers and network components. At full load, it keeps connected devices running for 20 minutes and 3 seconds; at half load, this time extends to 39 minutes. Thanks to its extended-life lithium-ion battery, it is a reliable solution for critical business infrastructure. The pure sine wave output protects sensitive electronics, and the pre-installed network management card (NMC) facilitates remote management.
Key features of the APC Smart-UPS SRT Li-Ion 1500VA RM 230V rackmount backup power supply with network card
- Online double-conversion topology for a pure sine wave output
- Extended-life lithium-ion battery
- Pre-installed network card for remote management
- PowerChute software ensures automatic and safe system shutdown
- Compact design for rack mounting
- Support for integration into the EcoStruxure IT platform
- Cold-start function from the battery without a mains supply
Topology and performance
The backup power supply uses online double-conversion topology, which delivers a pure sine wave output current without any interruption when switching to battery. The apparent power is 1500VA and the true power is 1350W. Integrated surge protection with an energy rating of 340J protects connected devices from voltage spikes in the electrical grid.
Battery and protection
The core of the unit is a lithium-ion battery, which takes 6 hours to fully charge. It integrates an automatic internal bypass for maintenance or in case of an internal fault. The cold-start function starts the UPS directly from the battery, even without an input power supply. The total battery life is 5–10 years, which reduces maintenance costs.
Remote management and software
For remote monitoring and management over the network, the UPS includes a pre-installed Network Management Card 3. The included PowerChute Network Shutdown software manages the automated and safe shutdown of servers and virtual machines. The power supply connects to centralised management platforms, including EcoStruxure IT. In addition to the network connection, USB and RS-232 ports are also available.
Connectivity and sockets
You connect the input power via a standard IEC C14 connector. For powering connected devices, there are eight IEC C13 output sockets, all of which are fully backed up. An RJ-45 port provides data line protection.
