Its versatile 2U design, measuring 850 × 432 × 667mm and weighing 37.24kg, allows for installation as a rack UPS in a cabinet or as a standalone tower UPS. At full load, it offers a backup time of 9 minutes and 45 seconds; at half load, this time extends to 25 minutes and 17 seconds. With a pre-installed network card and PowerChute software, it coordinates the safe shutdown of critical infrastructure during extended power outages. Performance and topology
The backup power supply uses line-interactive topology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which stabilises the output voltage and thus saves the battery during minor network fluctuations. The apparent power is 2200VA and the real power is 1980W. At 100% load, the backup time is 9 minutes and 45 seconds. At 50% load, it extends to 25 minutes and 17 seconds. For increased protection during long-lasting outages, you can connect external battery modules to the UPS to further increase the total backup time.
Battery and comprehensive protection
The replaceable lead-acid battery fully charges in 3 hours, and its lifespan is extended by deep discharge protection. The cold-start feature starts the UPS even without input power. Connected devices are protected by an integrated surge protector with a 645J energy rating, which, along with noise filtering and an automatic shutdown function, provides comprehensive protection.
Remote management and software
Management is handled via USB interfaces, complemented by the pre-installed Network Management Card 3. This card supports full remote management over Ethernet and integration into platforms like IT Expert or Data Centre Expert. The supplied PowerChute Network Shutdown software manages the automatic and controlled shutdown of servers during a power outage.
Connectivity and outlets
Eight IEC C13 outlets and one IEC C19 outlet are available for powering connected devices. It divides the outputs into switchable groups for detailed power management. The input connection supports IEC 320 C20, BS1363A, and Schuko standards.
