AQARA Motion Sensor P1 (MS-S02)
The compact Aqara Motion Sensor P1 (MS-S02) can detect light intensity in addition to motion. It is designed for indoor installation and uses the Zigbee 3.0 wireless protocol to connect to the Agara hub. The sensor features flexible installation options and offers a wide field of view of up to 170° at a distance of 2 meters or 150° at a distance of up to 7 meters. The Aqara Home app makes it easy to set up the sensor's functions, including the option to sound or light an alarm if motion is detected. Thanks to the integrated light sensor, the Motion Sensor P1 can also be used to create home scenes and automations within a smart home. For example, the lighting is switched on if the sensor detects motion and the brightness level in the room drops below 30 lx. Motion Sensor P1 is compatible with a wide range of platforms (Apple Homekit, Mi Home (CZ), IFTTT and Amazon Alexa). The device requires an Aqara Hub, which is not included.

Motion Sensor P1 has adjustable detection sensitivity
The Aqara P1 motion sensor offers three sensitivity modes (high, medium and low) that determine at what distance the sensor is activated. This will give you more flexibility in its installation, plus it will reduce the number of false alarms. You can also easily set a detection timeout from 1 to 200 seconds using the Aqara Home app.
Zigbee 3.0 communication interface with OTA updates
Aqara Cube Motion Sensor P1 uses the open ZigBee wireless communication protocol, which can connect devices from different manufacturers through encrypted communication while maintaining their mutual compatibility and convenient control. With Over-the-Air (OTA) wireless software updates, you can access the latest updates and features as soon as they are released.
The Aqara P1 sensor is powered by a powerful battery
Motion Sensor Aqara P1 is equipped with a replaceable CR2450 battery that has a record long lasting up to 5 years (with LED indicator off and longer detection time). However, the battery offers decent battery life even if you use the sensor in colder environments and turn on all advanced features.
