The board is optimised for 14th, 13th, and 12th generation Intel Core processors, including Pentium Gold and Celeron models, via the LGA 1700 socket. A robust power design with proprietary ProCool connectors ensures a stable power supply using an eight-pin connector with solid pins that handle more current than standard hollow-pin connectors. ASUS OptiMem II technology carefully optimises signal traces and ground layers to maintain signal integrity and improve memory overclocking potential.
Expandability and memory support
Four dual-channel DDR4 slots allow for overclocking up to 5333MHz thanks to OptiMem II technology. For expansion cards, there are three PCIe x16 slots available – one full-throughput PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with SafeSlot Core+ technology for increased mechanical durability, a second PCIe 4.0 x16 slot operating in x4 mode, and a third PCIe 4.0 x16 in x1 mode. Storage is provided by two M.2 2280 slots with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, one of which is fitted with a heatsink to prevent throttling during long data transfers, and four SATA III ports for traditional drives.

The rear panel offers two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, a combined PS/2 port, Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and three audio jacks.
