The hidden-connector solution enables easier cable management. The absence of visible cables also creates a clean and elegant look. The graphics card high-power slot can deliver up to 600 watts through the motherboard itself, eliminating the need for visible 8-pin or 16-pin power cables at the front.
AI Cache Boost and ASUS AI Advisor
Boost the performance of large language models (LLMs) with the AI Cache Boost feature. This BIOS setting optimises the CPU cache and memory channels. By tuning high-speed memory, it delivers up to 29% higher performance for local LLMs. ASUS AI Advisor is your resident ASUS technical expert, always on hand to answer your questions. Intelligent control
The UEFI BIOS interface provides easy-to-use configuration options. ASUS DriverHub simplifies driver management with one-click automatic detection, installation, and updates. ASUS GlideX enables easy screen sharing and control across PCs, tablets, and phones via USB or WiFi, and supports multiple platforms. Armoury Crate offers easily customisable Aura Sync RGB settings for every compatible device in your arsenal within a single intuitive interface, plus controls for an ever-expanding family of ASUS products, including keyboard and mouse preferences.
Premium power and performance
The motherboard is equipped with 14 (80A) + 2 (80A) + 1 (80A) power stages, which integrate high-side and low-side MOSFETs and drivers in packages rated for up to 80 amps. This configuration ensures optimal power, efficiency, stability, and performance for current and future AMD processors. The eight-layer PCB improves stability and overclocking. Custom 8+8 pin ProCool power connectors improve the connection to the power supply. TUF coils and capacitors offer high durability and stability, and the Digi+VRM Control feature regulates voltage in real time.
Memory and storage
With extensive support for AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO™), it can handle more demanding tasks. You can also adjust performance using a variety of settings in the UEFI. ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) automatically detects the memory chips in your kit and then displays optimised frequency, timing, and voltage profiles that you can quickly utilise. This motherboard also features a single PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, enabling data transfers at speeds up to 128Gb/s. All M.2 slots support NVMe RAID configurations.
Cooler by design
The integrated AIO system management enables complete control of PWM or DC water pumps. A dedicated integrated circuit protects each fan header from overheating and overcurrent. The extensive surface area of the VRM heatsink covers the MOSFETs and coils to improve cooling performance. Each header can dynamically reference three thermal sensors. Fan Xpert 4 lets you map the temperature of supported ASUS graphics cards and optimise cooling for GPU and CPU-intensive tasks. The enlarged chipset heatsink area enhances system performance and heat dissipation. All three M.2 slots are equipped with dedicated heatsinks to help maintain optimal operating temperatures for M.2 SSDs. All onboard fan headers support auto-detection of PWM or DC fans.
Enhanced connectivity
This motherboard offers versatile connectivity options thanks to its PCIe 5.0 connectors, a rear USB 20Gb/s Type-C® port, a front USB 10Gb/s Type-C® connector, and support for a Thunderbolt™ (USB4®) header. The PCIe 5.0 standard offers double the data transfer speed of PCIe 4.0. PCIe 5.0 brings electrical changes to improve signal integrity, backward-compatible CEM connectors for add-in cards, and backward compatibility with previous versions of the PCIe bus. Extensive USB support ensures connectivity to a wide range of external devices.
PC DIY made easy
The PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim simplifies releasing a card from the PCIe slot. The M.2 heatsink features a convenient switch for quick removal. Its strong locking mechanism also provides a tight contact surface to help ensure reliable heat dissipation from your SSD. The ASUS Q-Latch system makes it easy to install or remove an M.2 SSD. With Q-Antenna, connecting a Wi-Fi antenna to your PC is easy and fast; just snap it into place. Built-in Q-LED troubleshooting indicators confirm that key components are functioning normally and are correctly installed during PC startup. BIOS FlashBack™ simplifies BIOS updates.
Protection
SafeSlot is a reinforced metal sheath integrated into the PCIe slot to ensure a firm card installation. The integrated SafeDIMM cover protects the memory modules. Special TVS diodes increase protection against electrostatic discharge up to +/- 10kV for air discharge and +/- 6kV for contact discharge. LANGuard integrates advanced signal-coupling technology and surface-mounted capacitors to improve throughput and help protect the motherboard from lightning strikes and static electricity. It also features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel back I/O panel. These models have passed a 72-hour salt fog test.
Audio
This motherboard uses the Realtek ALC1220P audio codec. It features a 120dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for stereo line-out and a 113dB SNR for line-in, ensuring superb sound quality. In addition, an impedance-sensing circuit automatically adjusts the gain to ensure the optimal volume range for your headphones. DTS® Audio Processing enhances the sound from gaming headsets and speakers by reducing distortion and providing deeper bass, making games, films, and music sound better.
