High-brightness and high-contrast image
This Full HD projector uses DLP technology for a 16:9 aspect ratio display. The 3800 ANSI lumens of brightness, combined with a 20000:1 contrast ratio, create a bright and legible image even in rooms that are not fully darkened. The pure glass lenses contribute to the precision and sharpness of details. The projector displays an image with a screen size from 70" to 150", which is a suitable size for small to medium-sized meeting rooms. The projector also supports 3D viewing.
Light source and operating characteristics
At the heart of the projector is a lamp with a lifespan of 6000 hours in standard mode. SmartEco technology and ECO mode extend this lifespan to 10000 hours. In LampSave mode, the lamp life reaches up to 15000 operating hours, reducing the frequency of replacements. The fan noise drops to 29dB in ECO mode, while it reaches 34dB during normal operation. The power consumption under typical load is 260W. An integrated 10W speaker provides audio for presentations. The Eco Blank and Auto Power-off modes contribute to energy savings by turning off the image or the entire device when idle.
Projection and installation
The projector uses a normal throw distance with a projection ratio of 1.49–1.64:1. You can project the image from a distance of 2.3 to 5 metres. Setup is made easy by automatic vertical keystone correction within a range of ±40° and a 1.1× optical zoom for fine-tuning the image size. You can place the projector on a table, where three adjustable feet provide stability, or mount it to the ceiling. Useful features include automatic power-on upon detecting an HDMI signal, which speeds up the start of a meeting.
BenQ MH560 projector connectivity options
The projector offers a wide range of connectors for connecting source devices. The foundation is two HDMI 1.4a ports for digital transmission. For older equipment, VGA (D-SUB), composite video (RCA), and S-Video inputs are available. A USB Type-A port with a 1.5A output powers connected smart devices. An RS232 port is used for remote control.
