CyberPower OLS1500EA-DE

CyberPower OLS1500EA-DE
The CyberPower OLS1500EA-DE backup power supply with online double-conversion technology delivers pure sine wave power to connected devices and serves as power failure protection for critical infrastructure. As a UPS for servers, it continuously regenerates the input voltage, completely isolating it from grid disturbances. It provides a real power output of 1350W and an apparent power of 1500VA. Thanks to zero transfer time to battery and generator compatibility, it reliably powers sensitive electronics without interruption. The colour LCD panel displays operating data and simplifies configuration. For more efficient operation, it offers an ECO mode. The backup time at full load is 5.3 minutes, and at half load it is 15.3 minutes.
Key features of the CyberPower OLS1500EA-DE backup power supply

Online topology and pure sine wave
This backup power supply uses an online double-conversion topology that continuously converts AC voltage to DC and back again. This process removes all grid anomalies, such as spikes or undervoltage. The result is a stable output with a pure sine wave, essential for sensitive equipment. The transfer to battery power occurs with zero delay, which eliminates the risk of connected systems restarting.
Management and operating modes of the CyberPower OLS1500EA-DE backup power supply
The clear colour LCD panel displays key operational data in real time, including battery status and current load. In addition to the standard mode, the power supply also offers an energy-saving ECO mode, which reduces power consumption under stable grid conditions. For centralised management, it uses PowerPanel Business software and the optional RMCARD205 card for remote monitoring via network protocols. The device has a Tower design.
Protection features and smart battery management
The power supply protects connected electronics from damage with integrated 345J surge protection and an electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) filter. The Smart Battery Management (SBM) system optimises the charging process and extends battery life. For emergencies, an Emergency Power Off (EPO) port is available, allowing for an immediate shutdown of the power supply and all connected devices. Extended backup time is supported by the ability to connect external battery modules (EBMs), which increases reliability for key applications.
Backup power supply connectivity
It offers backed-up sockets for connecting protected devices. Two of these are IEC C13 type, intended for powering servers, switches and other IT equipment, while the Schuko type socket is for standard peripherals. Communication with the control system is handled by a USB port with HID support, which does not require driver installation for basic management in the operating system. It also includes a dry contact for integration with industrial control systems.
