The first digit, in this case '2', denotes protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm, which in practice corresponds, for example, to protection against a finger. The second digit '0' means that the device has no protection against the ingress of water or other liquids. Headphones, speakers, or MP3 players with this protection are intended exclusively for use in a dry indoor environment. They are not resistant to sweat, rain, or dust, and must be protected from any moisture.
