The integrated automatic voltage regulation function compensates for fluctuations in the input mains within the range of 160V to 294V, which reduces battery wear. The power supply provides an apparent power of 650VA and a true power of 520W for powering servers, network components and workstations. Its high efficiency of 97% in mains mode contributes to lower energy running costs and reduces waste heat production.

Battery system and backup times

At the heart of the power supply is a maintenance-free 12V lead-acid battery with a capacity of 9Ah. The design allows the user to replace it directly without professional intervention. At a full load of 520W, it powers devices for 1.1 minutes. At half load, the backup time extends to 9.4 minutes. The power supply integrates protection against deep discharge and supports an automatic battery test to verify its condition. This backup power supply does not offer the option to expand with external battery modules.

Design and connectivity

The power supply has a tower design with compact dimensions of 233×150×345mm and a weight of 7.9kg, making it easy to place in an office or under a desk. The graphical LCD with a blue backlight provides an instant overview of the UPS status, load, battery status and other measured values. The quiet operation, with a noise level below 35dB, does not disturb the work environment. The device operates within a range of 0 to 40°C and at a relative humidity of 0 to 90% without condensation. Four IEC C13 output sockets and two IEC Jumpers connectors are provided for powering protected devices. The input connection is handled by a standard IEC C14 connector. Communication equipment includes a USB port with HID compatibility and an RS232 serial port. For advanced integration, a mini terminal block is ready for remote on/off and potential-free contacts. Functionality can be further expanded using an optional communication card in the dedicated slot.
