The Eaton 5PX 1500i RT2U Gen2 UPS with line-interactive topology provides a real power output of 1500W at a rated power of 1500VA. Its unity power factor (W=VA) means the Eaton 1500VA UPS delivers full power to modern servers and network equipment with active PFC power supplies. A high operating efficiency of up to 98% in online mode significantly reduces electricity consumption and waste heat generation, leading to lower running costs. At full load, it maintains power for 14 minutes, providing enough time for a controlled shutdown of the connected IT infrastructure. The UPS allows for flexible installation as a 2U rack-mounted unit or a standalone tower.

UPS connectivity and sockets
The UPS uses an IEC C14 input connector to connect to the mains. The output section consists of eight IEC C13 (10A) sockets and two IEC Jumper connectors. Output socket segment control is used to prioritise the shutdown of less important equipment and extend the backup time for critical infrastructure.
