The Eaton 9SX 3000VA Rack 2U backup power supply provides a continuous power supply for server, data, and network equipment in critical IT infrastructure. This on-line UPS with double-conversion technology offers a real power output of 2700W and an apparent power of 3000VA to power high-performance systems. Its 2U design makes it easy to install in standard rack cabinets. A clear graphical LCD display provides real-time information on status, measured values, and alarms. Double-conversion technology continuously filters all network anomalies and delivers a pure sine wave output, which is essential for sensitive electronics. A high output power factor of 0.9 means more real power for modern IT loads. Eight IEC C13 sockets and one IEC C19 socket are available to connect the load, the latter for devices with higher consumption. The input power is connected via a standard C20 connector. A sufficient number of output sockets allows you to power multiple devices simultaneously without the need for additional distribution panels. The package includes two IEC-IEC patch cables for immediate connection.

The 0.9 output power factor delivers a real power of 2700W, which is enough to power high-performance servers and workstations. High efficiency of 92% in on-line mode contributes to lower operating costs and less heat production. An input power factor greater than 0.99 reduces interference back into the electrical grid.
Advanced management and monitoring
For integration into monitoring systems, the power supply includes USB and RS-232 ports. It also features a mini-terminal block for remote power off (RPO) and an output relay that signals the UPS status. Potential-free contacts allow for easy automation and connection to industrial control systems. All operating parameters and settings are accessible via the multilingual graphical LCD display.
Battery and design of the backup power supply
The internal battery module consists of six maintenance-free 12V / 9Ah lead-acid batteries. Advanced Battery Management (ABM) with temperature-compensated charging extends their service life. The option to add external battery modules (EBMs) lets you extend the backup time according to specific requirements. The compact dimensions of 438×86.5×608mm correspond to a standard 2U height.
