The Eaton 9SX 3000I UPS provides power using online double-conversion topology and a true power output of 2700W at an apparent power of 3000VA. Its tower design protects servers, data storage, and network components in IT rooms and small data centres. The online UPS system constantly monitors the quality of the input power and generates a pure sine wave at the output, which is completely independent of any mains power disturbances. This isolates connected equipment from outages, voltage sags, and frequency deviations. The adjustable output voltage range from 200V to 240V and broad country support make it ideal for deployment in international environments.

Double-conversion protection
The double-conversion topology continuously filters the input voltage and creates a stable, pure sine wave at the output, regardless of the input mains condition. This method isolates connected equipment from all power disturbances, including outages, voltage sags, surges, and frequency deviations. The design protects critical infrastructure from damage and data loss.
Extended backup time
You can increase the battery runtime by connecting external battery modules (EBMs). The system automatically detects and configures them without interrupting operation. ABM battery management technology uses three-stage charging, which extends battery life and notifies you when they need replacing. You can hot-swap both internal and external batteries. A multilingual graphical LCD shows status and measurement values. For local management, there are USB and RS-232 ports. An expansion slot for an optional communication card opens up possibilities for remote management and integration with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager software for monitoring in cloud and virtualisation environments.

An output power factor of 0.9 delivers more real power for modern IT equipment with active power factor correction (PFC), meaning you get a full 2700W from 3000VA of apparent power. With a high efficiency of 92.4% in online mode, this UPS reduces energy losses and heat production. This directly contributes to lower operating costs for both energy consumption and server room cooling. In addition, an input power factor greater than 0.99 limits interference back into the electrical grid.
