Elixir 14077 Bass strings are designed for electric bass guitars. Thanks to their special NANOWEB coating, they retain their tone significantly longer than standard strings. The protective layer prevents dirt from building up in the windings and ensures a smoother feel when playing. The nickel-plated steel wrap wire on a steel core delivers a bright, punchy tone with full bass.

NANOWEB technology for extended lifespan

An ultra-thin NANOWEB coating protects the entire string, including the gaps between the windings. This layer prevents the build-up of sweat, oil and debris that cause corrosion and deaden the sound of standard strings. As a result, Elixir strings maintain a consistent and lively tone for much longer. The smooth coating also reduces unwanted finger squeak when sliding along the strings.

Sound character and construction
