The story is set on the fictional island of Yara, which is the largest and most detailed open world ever featured in the Far Cry series.

The island of Yara has been devastated by an economic crisis and a cruel dictatorial regime. Part of the population lives in oppression and poverty, while the other lives in luxury under the protection of the dictator, Anton Castillo. Can you fan the flames of rebellion and ignite a revolution?
Animal Companions for Any Situation
The life of a partisan can sometimes be lonely, but your gameplay will be enhanced by animal companions. The star of Far Cry 6 is Chorizo, a dachshund with paralysed hind legs.
The Fight Moves into the City
Unlike previous instalments in the Far Cry series, this time we'll also visit the city, where the fight will take place on the rooftops and in the narrow streets of the capital, Esperanza.
Far Cry 6 will also offer online co-op for two players.
The guerrilla style of combat will force you to craft your own weapons and devise new tactics.

Fight against the dictatorial regime of Anton Castillo and his son Diego, portrayed by Hollywood icons Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad) and Anthony Gonzalez (Coco).
