Non-contact sensors
The wireless controller uses GameSir Hall Effect sticks, which work on the principle of electromagnetic non-contact sensing. This technology prevents mechanical wear on the internal contacts and prevents unwanted stick drift during long-term use. The Hall Effect triggers react to the force of your press and include physical trigger stops that shorten the actuation distance for faster reactions in action games.
Mechanical circular D-pad
The directional pad has a circular shape and mechanical switches with a fast response. The circular design of the D-pad makes it easier to accurately input screen size directions in fighting simulators or sports games. The ABXY action buttons use proven membrane switching technology for quiet operation. The controller combines mechanical and membrane elements for different tactile feedback when pressing the individual controls.
Vibration motors and fast response
The controller has two asymmetric vibration motors that generate haptic vibrations according to the in-game action. Both the wireless connection via the USB receiver and the classic wired USB-C connection operate with a polling rate of 1000Hz for fast signal transmission. The ultra-low latency of the buttons and sticks prevents delays between pressing a control and the subsequent action on screen, which reduces lag in fast-paced gameplay.
Button customisation
On the back of the controller, there are two separate macro buttons for assigning game functions. Users can set individual buttons or record macros directly in the GameSir mobile app for Android and iOS, or in the GameSir Connect software for Windows 11. This custom button mapping allows you to tailor the controls to the specific requirements of a particular game.
Integrated battery
The built-in 600mAh battery provides power for the controller's wireless operation. The device fully supports automatic charging in a compatible docking station, which is sold separately and is called the Super Nova. When you place the controller in this station, the charging process starts automatically without needing to manually connect the USB-C power cable.
