FPS
The original game dates back to 1995
The original Star Wars: Dark Forces from 1995 was one of the pioneers of the FPS genre and pushed its boundaries. It offered an unprecedented level of freedom of movement, environmental interactivity and a wide range of items and bonuses. The extensive levels, thoughtful level design and emphasis on exploration made the game more than just an action shooter and laid the groundwork for many of the mechanics we take for granted today.
STORY
Reveal a top secret project
For the first time ever in a Star Wars FPS, players take on the role of Kyle Katarn, a former Galactic Empire officer turned mercenary working with the Rebel Alliance. As part of covert operations, he penetrates deep into the Imperial structures, where he uncovers the top-secret Dark Trooper project. The development of a new generation of combat droids and heavily armored stormtroopers could fundamentally strengthen the Empire's dominance over the galaxy if it is not stopped in time.

The remastered version offers all fourteen original missions set in iconic Star Wars worlds and aboard giant capital ships. Intense first-person combat, clever environmental puzzles, mazes and a wide arsenal of weapons and power-ups await you.
