Stable power for Intel processors
The board uses a digital power system with a 14+1+2 phase design and 60A DrMOS elements. This system delivers a stable current directly to the processor, even under intense load. The power cascade maintains low operating temperatures with its advanced VRM Thermal Armor Advanced passive cooling, which prevents performance drops due to overheating.
Modern drives
Users have a total of four slots for M.2 NVMe drives. One of these slots operates on the PCIe 5.0 interface, offering extreme transfer speeds for the system drive. Passive M.2 Thermal Guard heatsinks protect the installed SSDs from thermal throttling. The remaining three slots use the PCIe 4.0 interface for ample capacity.
USB 4.0 and Thunderbolt ports
The rear panel features a USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort-Alt mode support, transferring video at resolutions up to 3840×2160 pixels at 144Hz. The board also offers two internal connectors for additional Thunderbolt cards. This high-speed interface simplifies connecting external devices and transferring large files. The setup is completed by two standard external USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.
Network connectivity
Wireless connectivity is handled by an integrated Wi-Fi 7 module that works with the 802.11be standard. For a stable wired connection, there's a 2.5Gbps network port managed by a Realtek chip. The wireless module is complemented by Bluetooth version 5.4 for easy pairing with accessories. A high-gain omni-directional antenna improves signal reception.
EZ-Latch system
The screwless EZ-Latch Plus mechanism makes it easy to install a graphics card into the main PCIe 5.0 slot. Similarly, the EZ-Latch Click system simplifies the quick, tool-free installation of M.2 heatsinks. These design features significantly speed up the entire PC assembly process. Users will also appreciate the physical Q-Flash Plus button for easy BIOS updates.
Surround sound
Sound is processed by an integrated Realtek ALC1220 codec with support for multi-channel output. The board includes an optical S/PDIF output and three classic audio jacks on the rear panel. Built-in RGB headers are used to connect lighting, which can then be synchronised using GIGABYTE Control Center software. This allows users to easily coordinate the look of their entire build.
