The HiLook NVR-108MH-C network recorder is used to store, manage and play back video footage from connected IP cameras. The device processes video signals from up to eight cameras simultaneously and stores the data on a hard drive. Users can watch live streams and recordings both locally and remotely. The recording device supports video storage at up to 8MP resolution, which corresponds to the 4K standard. The desktop design, weighing 1.5kg, requires stable placement on a solid surface and operates in a temperature range from -10°C to 55°C. Users can control the entire camera system remotely. The mobile app provides access to live viewing and playback of stored recordings from any location with an internet connection. Remote access makes it easy to check on the monitored property daily without needing to be physically present at the recorder. The system supports up to 32 remote connections simultaneously. Setup is made easy with P2P technology for quick pairing.

Video compression
The device uses advanced encoding formats to reduce the data stream. H.265+ technology efficiently compresses video footage without any visible loss of image quality. This compression method significantly saves hard drive capacity and reduces the load on the network infrastructure. The recorder also supports the older H.265, H.264+, and H.264 formats, so users can connect older types of cameras as well.
Motion detection
The integrated Motion Detection 2.0 technology analyses the monitored scene in real time. The system can accurately recognise people and vehicles, eliminating false alarms caused by things like falling leaves or animals. Advanced motion detection triggers recording only during a real intrusion. Users receive instant notifications on their mobile phone when an intrusion is detected. The recorder also reacts to signal loss or camera obscuration.
Connectivity and video outputs
The recorder has standard connectors for connecting monitors and televisions. HDMI and VGA interfaces are available, which operate in simultaneous output mode. The HDMI output supports video display at up to 4K resolution for scene monitoring. The VGA port provides Full HD resolution output. A single RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100Mbps is used for network connection.
Storage capacity
The device's internal space includes one bay for a SATA hard drive. The recorder supports the installation of a hard drive with a capacity of up to 8TB. This hard drive stores recordings from the 8 connected IP cameras. Users can back up data to external storage media via two USB 2.0 ports. The package does not include a hard drive.
