The HEISSNER FPU8000-00 flow-through filter set is designed to keep the water clean in garden ponds of up to 8m³ without fish, or 4m³ with fish stock. This set is designed for easy installation and operation, which will be especially appreciated by beginners or owners of smaller water features. It includes a filter pump with an integrated 9W UV-C lamp, which actively limits algae growth. The water passes through a three-chamber filter with sponges and filter balls, which provide both mechanical and biological cleaning.

UV-C lamp for clear water

The heart of the water purification system is the integrated UV-C lamp. The lamp effectively destroys single-celled organisms, such as floating algae, which cause unwanted green discolouration of the water. The 9W output is sufficient to treat the entire volume of the pond. The lamp not only limits the growth of floating algae but also reduces the number of harmful microorganisms and contributes to a healthy environment for any fish and plants. The result is crystal-clear water.

Mechanical and biological filtration

The filter box uses a three-chamber system that ensures thorough water purification. The water first passes through filter sponges of varying coarseness, which capture mechanical impurities. Then, the water flows through a chamber with 50 filter balls. Beneficial nitrifying bacteria settle on their surface, biologically breaking down harmful substances. It is this combination of mechanical and biological cleaning that ensures a stable and healthy ecosystem in your pond.

Easy installation and maintenance

The entire set is designed for simple and quick installation that you can manage without professional assistance. Thanks to the 3-metre-long connection hose, you can place the filter box and pump flexibly as needed. Access to the filter media is easy, which simplifies regular cleaning. For even more convenient operation, the filter is compatible with the Smart Plug Z1-00 (sold separately), which enables smart switching and remote control of the device.
