Processor performance
The device is powered by a quad-core Amlogic S905×5M-J processor manufactured using 6nm technology. The processor delivers a computing performance of 30000 DMIPS for a smooth user interface. The hardware configuration is complemented by 2GB of RAM. The 32GB of eMMC internal storage provides capacity for installing apps and games. This ensures the system responds without delay, even when launching demanding tasks.
AI-SR image technology
Integrated artificial intelligence upscales lower-resolution video signals to a higher quality. The AI-SR function analyses individual frames in real time and fills in missing pixels. This method removes digital noise and edge blurring in older video recordings. The resulting picture has sharper contours, even on large-screen TVs. The player also supports High Dynamic Range HDR10+.
Audio formats
The cinematic experience is enhanced by Dolby Atmos surround sound support. The audio track is transmitted to compatible audio systems without any loss of quality. The device decodes advanced spatial audio formats for realistic room sound. The S/PDIF digital optical output is used to connect older amplifiers. This gives users a faithful reproduction of both sound effects and music.
Network connection
The Wi-Fi 6 interface ensures stable data transfer when streaming high-bitrate video. Wi-Fi 6 operates on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with high resistance to interference. A physical network connection is provided by gigabit Ethernet with a speed of 1000Mb/s. This helps users avoid image stuttering while watching online broadcasts. The wireless connectivity is complemented by Bluetooth 5.2 technology.
Gaming options
The system supports cloud gaming platforms like NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Gamers can download compatible Android games directly from the Google Play store. The Bluetooth wireless protocol is used to connect gamepads or keyboards. The high hardware performance supports smooth rendering of game graphics. Your TV can therefore function as a games console without needing to buy expensive additional hardware.
Control and mirroring
The package includes a remote control that communicates via Bluetooth and does not require a direct line of sight to the device. The integrated microphone lets you use voice commands with Google Assistant. The Chromecast built-in feature mirrors multimedia content directly from your mobile phone. This makes it easy for users to display photos or videos on the big screen. USB 2.0 and USB-C ports are also available.
