Intel Core i7-2600S

The new quad-core processor, expanding family of Intel Sandy Bridge, which compared to previous generations took a significant step forward in terms of computing and graphics performance with optimized consumption. It is an economical high performance variant of the model class i7-2600 with the preservation of all the advanced technologies, including Intel Hyper-Threading support virtualization and large L3 cache memory.
The suffix "S" in the model name stands for maximum consumption reduced by as much as 30 W!Reduced touched the working frequency of each core, so that now each of the four cores oscillates at 2.8 GHz.Gratifying feature is the fact that theTurbo frequency of innovation Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2nd0 remained identical to the model without epithets "S" to an impressive 3.8 GHz!
The processor also supports the new temporary overclocking integrated graphics chip under the name Intel HD Graphics 2000, up to 1350 MHz!This graphical solution supports a wide range of new technologies and more than enough for office work, playing games and undemanding playing HD videos. In addition iGPU is still hidden in the processor-channel DDR3 memory controller, DMI bus and PCI Express 20thThe processor is required on the motherboard with socket LGA 1155, backward compatible with older Socket is not possible.Along with the CPU cooler you will receive.
