Cooling the Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4129L case
The airflow system relies on a series of seven integrated fans, which maintain optimal temperatures even under high load. At the front, two 120mm fans operate directly in the drive cages, while the central rail holds another three 120mm units. Two rear fans efficiently exhaust warm air, creating a strong tunnel effect to cool the processor and expansion cards.
Data storage flexibility and compatibility
The internal layout supports the installation of up to ten 3.5" hard drives using a tool-free mounting system. Two removable cages make handling the drives easy, and three external 5.25" bays can be used for optical drives or other panels. The ample space safely accommodates powerful graphics cards and CPU coolers with plenty of height clearance. The front lockable door with a dust filter protects internal components from unauthorised access and dirt. A solid steel chassis reliably eliminates unwanted vibrations from hard drives and fans, thereby reducing the overall noise of the build.
