Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz ECC Low Voltage
This Kingston low-voltage memory module serves to increase server performance for both multitasking or demanding tasks. The module is specifically designed for use with seamless compatibility on HP/Compaq servers. It is a great choice if you need to expand the memory on your server - especially if you require high performance with increasing user demands on data load and programs.
ECC technology checks transparently and in real time the integrity of data stored in memory. It can find and fix an error in one bit and detect the error in two bits. Some memory controllers can also repair larger scale errors in conjunction with the ECC. Most professional desktops require ECC enabled memory. In cooperation with parity control, the memory achieves maximum control of transmitted data. Parity is where the auxiliary information (the so-called parity bit) is added to a single word, and it can then verify the authenticity of the transferred data.
