System optimisation using AI
The motherboard integrates artificial intelligence into key areas through the MSI Center platform, which automatically optimises system settings based on the applications in use. The AI Engine adjusts performance in real time, the AI LAN Manager optimises the network connection and minimises latency, while Frozr AI Cooling intelligently manages cooling based on CPU and GPU temperatures. The AI Boost feature enables NPU overclocking for higher performance in applications that use artificial intelligence.
Powerful delivery and overclocking support
The motherboard features a robust 16+1+1+1 Duet Rail Power System with a 90A Smart Power Stage, ensuring stable power delivery even for more demanding processors. The design uses a PCB with server-grade NPG-170D material and reinforced copper for optimal power transmission. Dual 8-pin CPU connectors and an additional 8-pin PCIe connector provide ample power for overclocking and AI calculations. The OC Engine allows for precise adjustment of base frequencies for advanced overclocking, while the AI Overclocking feature automatically recommends optimal settings for processors with an unlocked multiplier.
Advanced Frozr Design cooling
The Frozr Guard thermal design combines extended aluminium heatsinks connected by a heat pipe with 7W/mK thermal pads for MOSFETs and coils. The M.2 Shield Frozr protects all M.2 slots from thermal throttling and ensures optimal SSD performance. An enlarged chipset heatsink maintains a low temperature even during intensive data transfer. Six 4-pin PWM connectors for system fans, one Combo Fan Header that functions as both a fan and a pump, and a dedicated 4-pin connector for water cooling provide complete control over temperatures. All connectors support automatic fan type detection.
