nJoy Cadu 850

nJoy Cadu 850
The nJoy Cadu 850 UPS uses line-interactive (VI) topology and provides a real power output of 480W (apparent power 800VA). It protects connected devices from overvoltage and undervoltage. Thanks to integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), it corrects mains fluctuations in the 176–280V AC range, saving the battery for actual power outages. A clear LCD display shows key real-time operating parameters, such as load status and battery capacity. A USB port with HID protocol support is used for communication with a computer. It also includes RJ45 network protection with support for a transfer speed of 1Gb/s. The UPS has a Tower design and its operating noise does not exceed 40dB, which corresponds to a quiet environment.
Key features of the nJoy Cadu 850 UPS
- Uses line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
- Clear LCD display for monitoring operating status
- USB communication interface with HID protocol support
- Protects data and telephone lines (RJ-45/RJ-11)
- Cold start function to start from the battery
- Automatically restarts when mains power is restored
- Faster battery charging
Voltage stabilisation and power backup
The line-interactive technology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) actively stabilises the output voltage at 230V AC (+/- 10%) without switching to the battery if the input voltage is within the 176–280V AC range. In the event of a complete power failure, the internal GP09122F battery takes over the power supply. At a half load of 240W, it keeps connected devices running for 2 minutes and 32 seconds. The UPS supports charging even when switched off and recharges the battery quickly. The cold start function starts the UPS directly from the battery, even when mains power is not available.
Management and monitoring
You can monitor the operating status of the nJoy Cadu 850 UPS on the built-in LCD display, which shows the input and output voltage, load level, battery capacity and current operating mode. The USB communication port is used for power management on the connected computer. Thanks to the implementation of the HID (Human Interface Device) protocol, it works with the native power management functions in operating systems without needing to install additional software. After the power supply is restored, the UPS automatically restarts and begins recharging the battery.
Connectivity and sockets
Two backup Schuko sockets are used to power protected devices. In addition to power protection, the UPS also includes RJ-11 and RJ-45 ports to protect the telephone line and data network from voltage spikes. The network protection supports a transfer speed of up to 1Gb/s, so it does not reduce the performance of a gigabit connection.
