Overcooked is an action-packed cooking game that will test your ability to cooperate under pressure. In a team of up to four chefs, you will prep, cook and serve meals before your customers lose their patience. The game is primarily designed for couch co-op for up to 4 players, but it also offers a single-player mode. A series of pitfalls and ever-changing kitchen environments await you. This is an electronic licence for the Steam platform.

Teamwork in a Chaotic Kitchen

In Overcooked, communication and coordination are the keys to success. Each level challenges you to prepare several different dishes within a time limit. Your team must prep, cook and serve all the orders. Tasks include chopping ingredients, boiling, frying, plating up meals and serving them. If you're not fast enough, the customers will get angry and leave the restaurant, which will negatively affect your score.

Game Modes and Unlockable Content

The game offers a main campaign that you can play through either alone or in local co-op with friends. As you progress through the game, you'll unlock new chef characters and new, more challenging kitchens. In addition to the cooperative mode, it contains a total of 28 levels to test your skills. For those looking for a direct confrontation, there are also special competitive levels where two teams of two can compete against each other to find out who is the better cooking team.

Environmental Hazards and Hardware Requirements

The kitchens in Overcooked are anything but ordinary. You'll face a variety of pitfalls while cooking. To run the game smoothly, your computer must meet the minimum requirements. The game requires an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a frequency of 2.4GHz, 4GB of RAM and a graphics card on par with an NVIDIA 8800 GT. You will need 2GB of free space on your hard drive, and Windows 7 is a sufficient operating system.
