Overruled!

Overruled! is an action game for PC that turns the rules of multiplayer battles on their head. Challenge up to three other players in local or online mode and fight for the highest score. The main mechanic is that players can change the rules mid-game using special cards. This directly affects the dynamics and direction of the fight, so no two games are ever the same. The game is delivered as an electronic licence with a key for the Steam platform.

Change the rules on the fly

The core element of Overruled! is the ability to change the rules right in the middle of a match. You have over 30 different cards at your disposal to completely turn the tide of battle. At any time, one of the players can decide to change the game mode from Deathmatch to Capture the Flag or King of the Hill, for example. Cards can also be used to adjust specific parameters, such as doubling the respawn time or activating team play. Use the cards and change the situation on the battlefield to suit your playstyle.

Game Content and Customisation

The game offers a total of 7 different levels and 9 quirky characters to battle with. Each character has a unique voice for every shout-out, which adds to the fun atmosphere. In addition to multiplayer, there are also 5 special single-player campaigns. Before each game, you can also customise the game options and set the rules exactly to your needs. A digital version of the soundtrack is also included.

System Requirements

To run the game smoothly on the Windows platform, a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a graphics card on par with an Nvidia GeForce 8600GT, ATI Radeon HD4650 or Intel HD3000 is recommended. macOS users will need OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or newer, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz processor and an Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics card. For gaming on Linux, any of the major distributions since 2010 with a similar hardware configuration to Windows will suffice. For all platforms, a broadband internet connection and 400MB of free disk space are required.
