Ergonomic Carrying System
The core of the carrying system is the shoulder straps, designed based on running vests. These straps effectively distribute the weight of the load from the shoulders across the entire upper body. The straps feature integrated pockets made of stretch mesh and attachment points for the Capture Camera Clip. Two chest straps help stabilise the backpack during active movement in the field. The back panel with a ventilation channel promotes airflow and reduces sweating.
Durability
The outer shell is made of Terra Shell 210D ripstop nylon from 100% recycled sources. The material has earned Bluesign eco-certification and is free from harmful PFAS compounds. The outer side has a water-repellent coating, and the inner side features a polyurethane coating with a resistance of 1,500mm water column. All UltraZip zips use highly durable UHMWPE fibres to resist abrasion. In adverse weather, protection can be enhanced with the optional Rain Fly.
Modular Interior Space
The backpack offers a modular interior space compatible with Camera Cube storage boxes. The main compartment can fit a Smedium or Small camera cube to store one mirrorless camera and up to four lenses. You can access the gear exclusively through the secure rear panel, which prevents theft while wearing the backpack. The internal layout is complemented by a dedicated pocket for a hydration bladder, which can also be used to store a laptop up to a 13″ MacBook Pro.
Flexible Attachment
The exterior features side pockets designed for water bottles, tripods, or trekking poles. The pockets maintain the backpack's flat profile even when completely empty. External Cord Hook straps and hidden Cord Rails are used to attach additional gear. These elements allow you to securely attach other transport bags or compression straps to the outside. The package includes two cinch straps and two elastic loops.
Practical Functional Details
Hidden points for installing a Capture Clip mount are located on the shoulder straps. A sturdy top handle makes it easier to lift and handle the backpack when loading. Inside the main compartment, there is a removable key clip that can be placed in different pockets as needed. A port for a hydration system tube runs through the top section. The UltraZip pockets securely hold small accessories and memory cards.
Compact Design
The 18-litre version of the camera backpack offers a lighter and more compact design than the larger 25-litre variant. The weight has been reduced by 20% to just 0.88kg. Unlike the larger model, it does not use a roll-top entry and relies solely on the rear opening. The backpack is suitable for users with a torso length of 43 to 50cm.
