A closer look shows the savings on the design. For example, just tilt and take a closer look at how AOC has solved the buttons. But everything works as it should. The menu needs to be studied. Not all options are available in every profile. Once set up, it is easy to switch between "standard" - "player 3" - "player 2" etc.

I ordered 3 of these monitors and all 3 have one bad pixel. It's in the top left corner of all of them, and it's completely invisible in practice. The pixel glows nonstop red. Unless you have the test running, the white paint on, and you're focused on it, you can't see it. I am very pleased with the automatic power switching feature. I connect my desktop pc to the monitor via DP and my work laptop via HDMI and it switches itself. As a complete amateur at adjusting the color on a monitor, I can't judge the quality of the panel, but I tried to approximate it on my old ASUS ROG PG279Q and using brightness/contrast/R G B I got a rough approximation. It's brighter than the ASUS so I turned the brightness down to 70. So it has enough brightness in my opinion. Terribly simple to unpack, assemble and wire. attaching the base and legs just by hand. The leg then snaps on to the monitor - it holds perfectly. I'm not worried about carrying the monitor just by that leg. However, it is possible to get caught from the back of the panel, that you can get your fingers in there. I didn't want to buy a wall mount and I chose a practical stand. This one doesn't take up too much space on the table and its shape allows me to store things, I have a central speaker on it. I have the stand against the wall and the front of the panel is 16.5cm away from the wall. It's strange, but it doesn't bother anyone, that it doesn't have a plastic frame on the front (top, left and right), but where there would normally be a frame is just a black panel, about 0.5cm. I am pleased with the height adjustment, up/down tilt and left/right rotation. It also allows for an elevation pivot. Compared to the Asus, it also heats less. HDMI and DP cables included. I'm surprised that a very similar monitor would have cost 16 thousand kč or more 10 years ago and now can be found for 4 600 kč.

As is generally the case with AOC, backlight bleed is virtually absent here. My piece also has no dead pixels. In sRGB mode, the colours are pretty accurate for a gaming monitor, but they are a bit washed out, i.e. unsaturated. When one switches to native mode, the colours are much more saturated and the coverage increases, but they are very inaccurate. It's great that in medium overdrive mode, which is recommended for gaming, there is virtually zero RGB overshoot. It's also nice that you can use Adaptive Sync and MPRT mode at the same time - not even many more expensive monitors have that. The ergonomic stand is practical and minimalistic, but it could have been made a little better, a little more white. The monitor has a tendency to shake when typing on the keyboard. The OSD controls are a horror, but fortunately there is software directly from AOC to control everything you need directly in Windows. In general, I rate the monitor as good value for money, especially for the price at which it was on sale. I replaced it with a more expensive MSI, where there were better colors but really noticeable and visible backlight bleed in the corners.

The monitor is pretty good, but the controls suck. HDR is more about colours looking true to life than luminance. 10bits is not very recognizable, and it is not supported by chrome or mozzilla.
good colours
viewing angles
adjustable stand
terrible controls, buttons are hard to press
I'm not impressed with the brightness

unbeatable for the money
of course, the design is completely plastic and the edges are not completely sanded smooth, but that is irrelevant in this price range
