I have tried about 7 photo monitors from different brands over the years. None of them worked properly, all of them had some defects (light bleeding, image retention, flickering, dozens of defective pixels, etc.). This is the first monitor that works as expected. The image is beautifully sharp, stable, with even backlighting. The integrated calibration probe saves a lot of work. The monitor definitely has better blacks than other IPS monitors, but it's still not quite perfect - IPS glow is still visible, although you can see that they're trying to suppress it more or less effectively. But this is simply a feature of IPS panels that must be taken into account. I find the price a bit steep, but on the other hand - having seen the gossip served to customers by other manufacturers, I'm happy to pay extra.
