I don't know if I have a defective piece (I bought it unpacked), but when I connect it via USB-C, the picture doesn't start - No Signal - and I can't get into the menu to try to set the input. It only works with my Macbook Pro 16" via HDMI. It's a bit annoying, but considering the price it's probably tolerable

My requirement was to have a 27" (or more) monitor that will have a higher resolution (QHD) - I also have "only" FHD and sharpness is not a problem with it. The monitor will meet all my expectations and that is that it will be stable, it will be able to be positionable, it can connect to an older computer and it will not raise and shout to the world that it is a gaming monitor.
Plus, for me personally, 27" is the perfect diagonal for watching movies and working. It's not unnecessarily large (see 31+ inch), and at the same time it's not small (24") where you lose out when displaying 2 windows side by side.
I can't evaluate the failure rate yet, but as far as the MSI brand and monitors in general are concerned, I'm happy with the Taiwanese (my previous monitor was a BenQ).
