With the right settings, the picture looks quite good. Unfortunately, there is some black smearing, which is quite common with VA panels. The PPI is on the borderline of comfortable sharpness. If you sit close to the monitor, you can see the pixellation, for example on the NVIDIA icon in the bottom bar. When typing on the keyboard, the whole monitor sometimes wobbles slightly due to the not-so-stable stand. MAINLY, BEWARE OF PANEL BURN-IN! Until now, I didn't know an LCD panel could be permanently damaged like this. On my unit, it happened within just 9 months of normal use. It wasn't just temporary image retention, which appears on this monitor after about 2 hours of watching YouTube, but permanent burn-in of the Firefox top bar, the bottom bar with the Start icon, and practically the entire YouTube user interface. The burnt-in images were most visible on grey areas, even from a greater distance. The complaint was resolved by a repair, during which the panel was replaced. Unfortunately, besides the fact that the monitor arrived with one faulty red subpixel, the image retention is again appearing after just 2 hours of watching YouTube. So, I hope that this time, the panel won't be permanently damaged again by normal use. If the problem happens again, this time I will ask for a refund. Based on this experience, I unfortunately have doubts about the quality of the panel used, especially since I didn't come across a similar problem with this model anywhere before buying it. My previous ASUS monitor with a TN panel still works today, after 7 years, without a single fault. But this TUF Gaming didn't even last a year.

This monitor from ASUS exceeded my expectations, I was a little worried about the VA panel often mentioned black smearing but this panel absolutely does not, the overall response is at an excellent level, another big plus is compared to the IPS panel (compare with LG UW34" IPS panel) is much better contrast, black is really black. The only minor downside is maybe not so accurate colors, here IPS has an advantage. Overall, I can definitely recommend this monitor especially for gaming, the price/performance ratio is really excellent.
