I use my TV as a gaming monitor for my PC. Overall I rate it positively, the picture in games is at a great level and with HDR on I think it's better than any oled monitor. 144hz is perfectly sufficient for 4K, even for games like battlefield, COD. The response with the gaming mod on is at a similar level to the monitors, maybe a hair worse but nothing major. If you don't play games like CS, apex or valorant, this will be enough for you. What I don't rate positively anymore, and what might bother some, is LG's aggressive panel protection. For example. after a short period of inactivity when I move the mouse cursor the image flashes gently, a slight flicker may appear when e.g. I'm running through the dialogue options with NPC characters in the game. In windows this happens more often, it eases up a bit when I reduce the brightness to 50%. It doesn't help to turn off G-sync, power saving features or static log dimming.
When gaming it's tolerable and I don't even notice it much, but there are games where it's more pronounced, I definitely wouldn't recommend a TV for games like WOW, LOL and the like where there are a lot of static elements.
