In terms of picture quality, it's absolutely fine for the price range, but the "coil whine" unfortunately kills it. I'm returning/complaining.
After turning off all (but really all) of the "smart" and "dynamic" features like auto-brightness, local dimming and HDR, and then slightly pulling up the gamma and maxing out the brightness, the picture is decently watchable, absolutely no problem at this price range.
My particular piece (maybe not a general problem) suffers from extreme "coil whine" from the built-in power supply. The frequency is affected by the brightness value - the higher the brightness, the higher the beeping. It's unbearable in its entirety.
