Unfortunately, it only loads the playlist from the audio CD on the Mac, but no data. Tested under old mac OS Mojave and new Mac OS Sonoma. On the same computer, the audio disc was loaded into the virtual Windows 10 (via Parallels desktop) via the same drive. Unfortunately, I can't use this as a workaround because Windows doesn't load track names when importing from the internet, so I'd have to manually type in the names after transferring the loaded data to the Mac, and that's right foot scratching behind the left ear. Compatibility with mac OS is only partial. I haven't tried burning, nowadays I back up to hard drives.
On the Mac, it loaded burned DVDs and data CDs.
It also has USB C, it doesn't have a high power consumption, so it can also be used through the Vention hub
Audio CDs can be imported under Windows (only)
It won't load audio CDs on a Mac. It only shows the stock list but the music itself is not transferred to the computer.
