I bought the watch as a gift for my mother, who is visually impaired and uses it more or less only to keep track of time and number of steps. The watch meets her very minimal requirements. They will appreciate the large, easy-to-read display and the classic reliable strap fastening. However, the battery life stated by the manufacturer (4 days in normal use, 9 days maximum) is pure science fiction. With absolutely minimal use (tracking step count and time), the watch will run down to zero in a maximum of 2 days. In my experience, synchronization with the app is done automatically about once a day before midnight, if necessary it has to be done manually (otherwise the app still shows 0 steps, even though the watch measures correctly, and the actual number of steps is only visible in the app a day later).
