It works, but.
I had been choosing a mount for two 27" monitors for a long time and this was the only one with sufficient arm length. The actual base is metal and even with the tube they are really solid. I have it attached to a hole in the table, so I'm not evaluating how it holds attached to the edge of the table. The blue USB extension cables can be easily removed. I don't need them and I didn't want them to stick out behind my desk as I don't have a desk against the wall, but in the space. The arms themselves are also solid, without any play in the pivots. The spring preload stiffness can be adjusted well and the monitors hold the required height well. The locking worms of the shoulder pins on the flathead screwdriver are ridiculous, but I don't expect to handle them very often. Precise height adjustment takes some patience, but this is only due to the natural flexibility of the shoulder material. I think it's OK, it can't be done better. The big disadvantage is the unsuitable design of the attachment to the monitor. Apart from the fact that the included screws are silver, even though the whole mount is black, I don't like the design of the VESA plate connection to the mount arm. There is a lot of clearance in it, so the monitor can be rotated by about 3 cm without the holder moving, it's just due to the clearance at the connection point. After a bit of fiddling with the spirit level, you can put the monitors side by side in a plane, but you definitely can't use this mount for any frequent monitor repositioning. I don't rate the design of the VESA boards positively either, it's just sheet metal and since I have monitors that are also rear facing, it doesn't look the best. But I understand that this is a tax on versatility.
Overall I rate the holder positively, it works well for my purposes.
