I don't understand some reviews that say it "won't hold" the Z906 etc.
The stands have metal weights in the base and they hold the speakers just fine. I've tried it 100 times and kicked it to simulate a possible crash and it's very stable. Period: D
For those who are thinking about mounting with Z906 - unfortunately the screws supplied in the set are useless and the metric M6 × 12 mm DIN 912 will not fit you either. You need imperial 1/4"-20 thread and 1/2" length. I dug up a similar one somewhere, a little shorter and everything is fine. The stands have plastic holders so you don't need a tap to "rip" through the larger screws: )

A bit of an unplanned purchase for Yamaha speakers. There is neither a problem with stability, as some write, nor with cable retraction. The instability is probably caused by a bad installation. It is necessary to pay attention to the correct direction of the leg curve and the correct way of mounting the leg to the base. Likewise, retraction was not a problem. The 2x2,5 double line including the retractable spring fits and I think the 2x4 line would fit as well. A minor problem may arise at the point of penetration, where there is a break with a relatively small radius but nothing unsolvable. Now we need to make the stands survive the games of our two four-legged pets, which have a combined weight of 80 kg. 😉

Thank you for the previous review (Martin from Prague), on the basis of which I also purchased the stands. I can confirm that they fit the LG SPK8-S speakers perfectly. At the bottom of the rod is a clamp that screws onto the rod. Theoretically, you could use it without the expansion bottom part (as someone asked in the discussions), but this way it will be more stable.
