I bought the suitcase as a replacement for a series of suitcases from Alza last year. Indeed, the current S version should be sufficient for Ryanair cabin proportions. I tested it now on my trip abroad and it did not disappoint. I'm just under two metres tall and with the handle pulled out, the almost full suitcase (8kg) was pulled over uneven ground with virtually no problem.
