So for me, Alexa is a toy for children. I'm glad I have it, but nothing would have happened if he hadn't. It only knows basic on/off/set/... instructions, but nothing more. She sometimes responds to the voice the first time, but it's no exception to wake up to the fact that I have to say the word Alexa a second/third time. It can really only do the basics, I use the Tesla Smart app for half the functions on the outlets anyway. For example, when the current in the socket drops below 300mA, when the purifier turns on or something. And much more. Alexa can't do that. In addition, as far as the purifier is concerned, Alexa can change (sometimes when Alexa wants to) its status, but there is no longer an on/off function for the purifier. I couldn't even get the air conditioner to pair, it kept reporting an error. Buying this device is really the most basic of basic instructions and the first step for controlling your home with your voice. But don't expect more sophisticated SW or HW. Anyway, I think I'll definitely buy HomeKit or GoogleHome as well, and Alexa will stay in the drawer. It's really a kid's toy because none of the smarter instructions can do or control them better. As for the mobile widget, it is unusable. You can choose the "shopping list" widget which is useless to us, but in order to set Routines there, that when clicked, the widget can't do that either and you have to open the app. For me, go to Google or Apple.
