After two years, it suddenly stopped working for no reason. My PC restarted and then Windows, which I had installed on this drive, wouldn't even boot. I mainly use my PC for graphics software and occasionally play a few undemanding games. After running various diagnostics, I came to the conclusion that I can say goodbye to my data forever (my fault for not backing it up). It seems either the controller has died or the firmware has somehow become corrupted. CrystalDiskInfo sees the drive, but it just shows its size as 0TB. I suppose I was just unlucky and got a bad one, who knows.
