My previous experience with APC was always positive, the UPSs lasted for years and the batteries too. That is unfortunately in the past. So I recommend not to buy and to buy a quality inverter (fast switching, clean sine) together with a LiFePO4 battery (lithium, but not prone to burning like Li-Ion/Li-Pol). For the same price I have a setup that can power a PC for hours.

if there is a failure before the self-test fails (it happened to me), the UPS will only last a few seconds
I prefer inverter + LiFePO4 battery (works the same, lasts hours, charges faster)
It is not suitable for old electrical installations with AC type current protectors.
