If you turn off the cradle switch really often, after about a year my cradle switch went out on 5 APC extension cords, the switch started sparking when it turned on. Classic. Always exchange for a new piece and then rest for a while/year.

I bought the product after my modem and data antenna went down after a storm and subsequent "flickering" of electricity from the supplier. /Probably it was the age of the HW = about 11 years/ So I'll see.
